If you believe you have received a faulty or incorrect product please contact us as soon as possible by telephone:(02) 9526 2950, email: email@example.com or completing our online “Contact Us” form so we can promptly resolve the issue.
All concerns should be raised with us as soon as they are realised and within 14 days of purchase and receiving the goods. A receipt or indisputable proof of purchase is required when requesting a refund for any item. If processed successfully, the refund will be of the same value you had initially paid for the product, excluding the cost of postage, and will be returned via the same merchant as the original payment method.
WHEN WILL I BE ENTITLED TO A REFUND OR CREDIT?
You will be entitled to a refund if we are required to provide a refund under any relevant Australian consumer laws or when the product -
- has a major problem which renders it unusable or ineffective for the purpose that was intended;
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
- greatly varies from the designated sample or description advertised on the shop floor or on our website; or
- is unsafe;
- doesn’t do what we advertised it would do or what you asked for;
- can’t easily be fixed;
If the product falls under any of the above categories, within 14 days of purchase and receipt, you may choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.
If the problem is minor we may choose to repair the item. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you may choose a refund or replacement.
CAN I EXCHANGE A PRODUCT?
You may exchange a product for an identical type and value of the product originally supplied.
Due to health and hygienic reasons, we do not accept the return or exchange of items in the following categories under any circumstance:
- Dress up accessories,
- Food items
CAN I CHANGE MY MIND?
Discount Party World reserves the right not to accept returns or refunds based on change of mind and your circumstance. We are not required by law to provide a refund or a replacement if you have simply changed your mind and circumstance or chosen the wrong item.
We strongly recommend you check and confirm all items prior to checking out so that you can shop with full confidence.
We allow items such as costumes and costume accessories to be tried on before purchase to ensure consumers have the greatest assurance in their decisions before committing to the purchase.
WILL SHIPPING COSTS BE REFUNDED?
Return shipping will not be refunded, however any shipping back to you for replacement products will be free.
